Sumbe - Administration officials of Sumbe city, Cuanza-Sul province, on Friday learnt about the ethics and deontology of public administration to encourage responsibility, transparency and integrity in governance.
This is an initiative of the Delegation of the General Inspectorate of State Administration (IGAE) in Cuanza Sul.
The IGAI delegate in Cuanza-Sul, Nzinga Ngola do Céu, highlighted the importance of formulating ethical rules, which aim to serve citizens well in public administration.
Nzinga do Céu clarified that in the theoretical focus, ethics and morals must be permanent, universal, good conduct, rule, custom and temporal and that ethical conduct in public service obeys the rationality and morality of the individual.
Nzinga Ngola do Céu emphasized that organizational ethics is based on freedom, dignity, equal opportunity, human rights, justice, transparency, as well as loyalty, integrity, prudence, legality and professional secrecy.
Directors, school representatives, local administration officials, traditional authorities and guests participated in the lecture.
