Luanda - The Minister of the Interior, Manuel Homem, on Tuesday called for greater vigilance and readiness to the troops mobilized to ensure the festive season.
The governor made this recommendation after noting the level of readiness of the forces that will ensure public security and tranquility on New Year's Eve.
Manuel Homem spoke of the importance of the success of this operation for everyone.
Regarding the 'fireworks', in various regions of the country, he recommended the Civil Protection and Fire Service to work to avoid unexpected losses or human damage during their implementation.
The minister's tour began at the command post of the operation on ensuring the festive season, called 'N24', based in the Reaction and Patrol Unit (former Operational Unit).
On this first point, Manuel Homem held a meeting, behind closed doors, with the heads of the different bodies assigned to the Ministry of the Interior.
Then, the governor went to the police stations of Sambizanga, Cazenga and Viana.
