Addis Ababa - The Angolan head of state, João Lourenço, granted an audience on Sunday in Addis Ababa, to the United States Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Mary Catherine Phee.
As part of his diplomatic agenda on the sidelines of the 37th ordinary summit of the African Union (AU), João Lourenço also received Florizelle Liser, head of the United States Business Council for Africa.
At the end of the meetings, the two American personalities did not make any statements to the press.
The previous day, the Angolan President received the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy of Botswana, Lefoko Moagi, as special envoy of President Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi.
The three meetings come after João Lourenço met separately with his counterparts from Rwanda Paul Kagamé and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Félix Tshisekedi.
The Angolan statesman has been in the Ethiopian capital since Friday 16th for the 37th African Union (AU) summit, held this weekend. IZ/ADR/MRA/DOJ
