Luanda – The National Football Team are in group D of the African Nations Championship (CAN’2024), set to take place from January 13th to February 11th, in Côte d’Ivoire.
According to the draw, held on Thursday night in Abidjan, the Côte d’Ivoire capital, the group also includes Mauritania, Burkina Faso and Algeria.
The “death” group is that of the current champion, Senegal, who will face Gambia, Guinea and Cameroon in the initial phase.
Also noteworthy are the clashes between Côte d'Ivoire vs Nigeria (A) and Ghana-Egypt (B).
The host country, Côte d'Ivoire, will face Guinea-Bissau in the opening game.
Group A - Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria
Group B - Mozambique, Cabo Verde, Ghana and Egypt
Group C - Gambia, Guinea, Cameroon and Senegal
Group D - ANGOLA, Mauritania, Burkina Faso and Algeria
