Luanda The Luanda Science Center (CCL) presents this Saturday the 2nd edition of "From Luanda to the Universe", which will include educational workshops for all ages, with the aim of promoting knowledge about astronomy, ANGOP has learned.
Visitors will be able to observe the night sky for two hours, in a session especially dedicated to the planets Jupiter and Mars, says the note, noting that the observation will be made with telescopes, to put the eyes of the public on the sky of Luanda.
"At 10 pm, the CCL will also offer a videomapping session, an innovative audiovisual experience using the latest technologies," reads the statement.
With this activity, the CCL says it wants to bring Angolans of all ages closer to the various branches of science, promoting knowledge in a practical, fun and assertive way.
The first edition of "From Luanda to the Universe" was presented on February 1 this year. The Luanda Science Center is a pioneering institution in Angola dedicated to the dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge.
Integrated in the old soap factory, now restored, the center enriches the periphery of Luanda, offering to the population a unique experience in the city, where the public has contact with science in an interactive, captivating and accessible way for all ages. AMC/OHA/AMP
