Mbanza Kongo – Hundreds of ammunitions of different calibers were removed on Monday, by the National Police from the commune of Pedra do Feitiço, municipality of Soyo, province of Zaire.
According to the spokesperson for the National Police in Zaire, Intendant Luís Bernardo, speaking to the press today, the non-explosive devices were found in the vicinity of the 10 houses, on the outskirts of the communal headquarters.
Luís Bernardo reported that the discovery of these ammunition in cultivation areas had the collaboration of the inhabitants of the Pedra do Feitiço commune, who immediately reported it to the police authorities.
The spokesperson asked the community to continue collaborating with the competent authorities, alerting them to possible strange objects in their areas to avoid tragedies. JL/DOJ
