Luanda - The third edition of Kizomba Festival, taking place on March 7th, at the Belas/Futungo Convention Center in Luanda, will feature performances by Angolan and foreign musicians, the event organizer, Nuno Freitas, said Wednesday.
These are musicians Ângelo Boss, Pato, group Impactus 4 (Angola), the Cape Verdeans Nhone Lima, Dina Medina and Rui Last One and Christian Yeye and Francky Vincent from France.
In an interview with ANGOP, Nuno Freitas said that the expectation is positive, as the aim is, in addition to preserving the Kizomba style (music and dance), to take the public through a moment of nostalgia with the artists who marked the 80s and 90s and 2000.
According to the organizer, the essence of the Kizomba Festival is to bring to the public prominent national and international musicians promoting the Kizomba style, since this matrix of Angolan music is expanding throughout the diaspora.
It should be remembered that the 2nd edition featured musicians Eduardo Paim, Margareth do Rosário, Yola Araújo, Maya Cool and O2 (Angola), Zé Carlos, Jocel and Marizia do Rosário (Cape Verde) and French musicians Thierry Cham and Yvon Paris. ANM/OHA/TED/DOJ
