Luanda – The Angolan delegation that is in Nuremberg, Germany, to participate in the 74th edition of the International Trade Fair, Ideas, Inventions, and New Products (IENA2023) will exhibit in the event services and technological creations linked to the environment and the social area.
These projects aim to guarantee a healthier environment and decrease pollution, such is the case of e-waste (Waste Manegement System) which indicates eco-points for the positioning of trash containers and their selective disposing.
According to the co-ordinator of the Angolan team, Padoca Calado, for this edition, the country is being represented by inventors, academics, research institutions and freelancers.
The public Agostinho Neto University (UAN) will present in the said event its "E-Resíduos" (Residues Management System), with the goal to facilitate the tracking of waste focuses and properly deal with the situation, which includes recycling.
Among several technological innovations and gadgets, Angola will present the Queen Njinga Mbandi Chronicles, which is a game focused on the liberation history of the Angolan nation and also aspects relating to the African culture.
In the 2022 edition, Angola won 14 medals (three gold, two silver and nine bronze), having reached the overall conquest of 109 medals, namely 26 gold, 36 silver and 47 bronze.
