Cuito – A total of 100 families from the village of Camenehã, municipality of Cuito, province of Bié, benefited from agricultural inputs, aiming to increase agricultural production. The donation, delivered on Monday, Jan 06, by the administrator of Cuito, Abel Guerra Paulo, include fertilizers, ammonium, urea, agricultural instruments, hoes, seeds, among others.
On the occasion, Abel Guerra Paulo reiterated the Government's commitment to assisting peasant families with agricultural inputs and beyond, in order to facilitate the increase in rural production, mainly corn, beans, soybeans, rice, peanuts, cassava, tubers and others.
Therefore, he assured that another 150 families from the same village will be assisted in the coming days.
On the occasion, the beneficiaries praised the gesture of the local authorities, which will improve productivity in the region and consequently reduce hunger and poverty.
The municipality of Cuito, Bié's capital of the province, is investing in the current agricultural campaign on more than 200k hectares.
