Luanda - The Vice President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) for Private Sector, Infrastructure and Industrialization, Solomon Quaynor, will make a two-day visit to Angola on March 5 and 6 to strengthen the dialogue with the Angolan government and present the organization's innovative financial instruments.
According to a press release from the institution sent to ANGOP on Friday, the visit aims to encourage investment in Angola for economic diversification.
Solomon Quaynor will meet with public and private sector officials, heads of financial institutions, agro-industrial and business associations, and the Chamber of Commerce for Oil, Gas and Mining.
The agenda includes meetings with several officials, notably the Ministers of Transport and Planning, Ricardo D'Abreu and Victor Hugo Guilherme, respectively, and the President of the Angolan Investment and Export Promotion Agency (AIPEX), Arlindo Chagas Rangel.
The Minister of Planning, Victor Hugo Guilherme, is the current Governor of the African Development Bank for Angola.
