Huambo - Huambo provincial government Wednesday launched a public tender for the construction of three roads budgeted at 1.2 billion kwanzas, ANGOP has learnt.
According to the government’s press office, the contract is for the conclusion of the second phase of asphalting of three kilometres of roads linking Santa Iria neighbourhood and others linking Huambo city.
Companies should contact the Public Procurement department of the Huambo provincial government, during normal business hours, from January 19 to February 8 to learn about the paperwork enabling them to submit proposals, the press office said.
In a statement, the Huambo provincial government, via the Office for Studies, Planning and Statistics (GEPE), said that interested parties were required to pay a monetary amount to acquire the paperwork related to the public tender.
Huambo province is located in Angola's central region, with a population of over 2.6 million, spread across 11 municipalities in a 35,771 square kilometres area.
