Malanje – The 1st provincial Secretary of JMPLA (Ruling party's youth Wing) in Malanje province, Rúbens Muondo, on Sunday reiterated the call for young people to denounce those who commit acts of vandalism of public property.
Speaking in Kiwaba Nzoji town on the occasion of the 14th April festivities (Angolan Youth Day), the politician said that vandalism of public property and services has caused significant losses to the State's coffers, hence the need for citizens to be vigilant in their communities.
He stated that JMPLA will continue to carry out awareness-raising actions in communities, to discourage practices that hinder the country's development.
On the other hand, he said that Angolan youth month should serve to exalt the active participation of young people in the country's social life and promote the principles of citizenship and collective responsibility.
On the occasion, the 1st municipal secretary of the MPLA in Kiwaba Nzoji, José Neves, reaffirming the JMPLA's commitment to promoting values that unite Angolans.
JMPLA activists from all municipalities in the province participated in the festivities, which took place under the motto “Preserving and valuing the achievements, building a better future”. RM/PBC/CF/DOJ
