Talatona – About one 100 million Kwanzas are made available annually by Keve bank, for each female initiative enrolled in the entrepreneurship training program, promoted by the banking institution.
The information was provided, on Saturday, in Luanda, by the bank's Executive Administrator, Efigênia Tonha, during the event to present a strategy to exclusively support female entrepreneurship.
She said that the bank allocates different budgets for each type of project, namely in the mining, agri-business, industry and other entrepreneurial initiatives sectors, but did specify the total amount available so far.
From a strategic positioning point of view, she said that the bank intends to be in the top tier of the largest banks in the national market.
The initiative alluding to Angolan Women's Day, marked on the 2nd of this year, had the participation of 50 female entrepreneurs and addressed aspects that encourage the improvement of access and quality of banking services at national level.
In line with the objectives for the year 2024, the Bank plans to increase its focus on entrepreneurship initiatives led by women, as well as offering a set of advantages that allow them to enjoy access to credit, simplified payment methods, differentiated pricing and promote inclusion and diversity in the business community.
The meeting brought together entities from the Bank's administration, figures representing the financial sector and women entrepreneurs, among other guests.VS/MAG/DOJ
