Luanda – Petro de Luanda defeated Interclub B, on Monday (15), by 111-72, in the first game of the best-of-three Play-off of the quarter-finals of the senior men's National Basketball Championship of the first division.

The defending champions confirmed their victory on the field, without pressure from an opponent.

Luís José, from Interclube, was the match's top scorer with 29 points.

The second game is to take place on Friday (18), also at the Cidadela pavilion at 6:30 pm, where if Petro win they will secure a place in the semi-finals.
