Luanda – Petro de Luanda and 1.º de Agosto qualified on Wednesday for the quarter-finals of the Angolan Cup in football.
Petro de Luanda won 3-0 against Redonda FC do Dande, with the result being found only in the second half, with goals from Julinho on two occasions and Ilídio.
1º de Agosto, on the other hand, went to Uige and defeated the local Carmona, by 4-1, with goals scored in the first half, at the 4 de Janeiro stadium.
In the city of Dundo, Sagrada Esperança beat Interclube 1-0, with a solitary goal from Polaco.
Sporting de Luanda surprised Desportivo da Lunda Sul, whom they beat on penalties, by 5-4. The match was played at the 22 de Junho stadium, in the Rocha Pinto area.
São Salvador, on the other hand, surprised Wiliete with a 2-0 triumph, with goals from Lito and Sandro.
FC Bravos do Maquis eliminated Nacional de Benguela by 2-1, in a match played at the São Filipe stadium.
The historic 1º de Maio de Benguela came to the city of Luanda and at the Coqueiros stadium defeated Guelson FC, by 2-1.
The quarter-finals take place on 30 April, the semi-finals on 14 May, while the final is scheduled for 31 May.
