Luanda - The Ministry of Tourism has created the Tourist Support, Training and Entrepreneurship Office and the National Directorate for Project Structuring and Tourism Planning, with the aim to materialize its vision based to boost the private sector, ANGOP learned Tuesday.
According to a statement from the ministry, the Tourist Support, Training and Entrepreneurship Office is responsible for coordinating all technical and professional training and ensuring the quality of technical and professional staff in the hotel and tourism sector, as well as designing policies for access to employment and encouraging entrepreneurship.
The National Directorate for Project Structuring and Tourism Planning on its turn is tasked of creating the planning of areas of tourist interest and potential, previously classified, draw up tourist maps and issue opinions on municipal, provincial and national land-use plans, as well as analyzing and issuing technical opinions related to the implementation of areas of tourist interest and potential, among other duties.
The Ministry of Tourism has an organizational structure that will enable it to implement the planned ministerial policies effectively, the statement said.
