Luanda - Angola's tourism potential, with emphasis on the tourist development centers of Cabo Ledo, Calandula, Okavango Region and Mussulo, began to be presented on Wednesday in Madrid, Spain, through an Angolan delegation headed by the minister of Tourism, Márcio Daniel.
According to a press release to which ANGOP had access, the Angolan delegation is to hold meetings with one of the largest chains in the hospitality industry worldwide, Tour Operators, and businesspeople who are in the Spanish capital, where the largest International Tourism Fair (FITUR 2025), is taking place from the 21st to the 26th of the current month.
The same location also hosts the central event of the 50th anniversary of the World Tourism Organization, an organization of which Angola is a member since 1989.
According to minister Márcio Daniel, Angola's participation in the tourism business exchange constitutes an opportune moment to maintain contact with large international operators, such as the Meliá Hotels International, RIU Hotels & Resorts, NH Hotel Group and IBEROSTAR Group.
In addition to Spain, the Angolan delegation - made up of officials from the Ministry of Tourism - will travel to London, United Kingdom, to meet with the company specialized in Engineering and Project Management, DAR Engineering.

The Angolan delegation will also travel to Frankfurt, Germany, for a working meeting with the Kleber Group, a tour operator specializing in the management of tourist destinations and product development.
On the occasion, the German company will present relevant information on statistics, travel trends, profile of the most popular destinations and marketing and communication strategies for the DACH segment or regions which is made up of the three Central European countries such as Germany (D), Austria (A), and Switzerland (CH).
