Luanda - Angolan Air Carrier (TAAG) announced on Saturday, in Luanda, that it will incorporate more flights to Cape Town (South Africa), São Tomé (São Tomé and Príncipe) and Brazzaville (Republic of Congo), from September 2, 2024.
According to a note, the measure comes within the scope of the development of the network and reinforcement of frequencies in preferred destinations for passengers and customers.
It adds that it is aligned with the development of the 'Luanda Hub' and in order to strengthen the company's strategic positioning, as a link between the nations and economies of the continent.
To this end, the company shared the update of flight frequencies, departing from Luanda, starting next Monday.
Below is the updated information:
Cape Town (CPT), goes from 07 to 09 weekly flights, with bidaily departures on Wednesday and Saturday, and daily departures on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
São Tomé (TMS), goes from 02 to 03 weekly flights, departing on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Brazzaville (BZV), goes from 01 to 02 weekly flights, departing on Wednesday and Sunday, carried out exclusively during the day.
In parallel with the increase in frequencies, TAAG has carried out an exhaustive optimization of the general flight schedule, by introducing connections on new days of the week on non-daily routes, redefining departure/arrival times and adjusting operating days.
With these adjustments, the document says, the company will ensure greater connectivity and continuity in the passengers' travel plan, benefiting customers.
It explains that the measures aim to bring greater availability of flights, increase in connection/stopover flights between domestic, regional and intercontinental services.
It also advances that waiting times will be reduced on flights with a stopover or need to stay overnight.
Overall, it informs, TAAG will provide greater connectivity and convenience of service to its passengers, by optimising the interconnection between network services (domestic, regional and intercontinental) with special benefit for connecting flights.
