Luanda - Angola Airlines (TAAG) and the Air Line Pilots Union (SPLA) have decided to suspend the strike that started on Friday (7).
The decision followed an agreement reached this Tuesday, after a new round of negotiations, according to a press release sent to ANGOP.
The flag carrier notes that TAAG is already working on rescheduling domestic and international flights, as well as passenger accommodation, stressed the source.
It adds that the process may take between 2 and 5 days.
In addition to having all its pilots, now available, the leased aircraft, to meet TAAG's contingency plan, will continue to operate, in order to accommodate the passengers' travel plan.
The document clarifies that the call center service and the TAAG store network will actively contact passengers and customers, with guidance on their respective flight plans.
TAAG Management and its teams appreciate the understanding of passengers and customers throughout this process.
In turn, the member of the Air Line Pilots Union (SPLA), Miguel Prata, confirms the agreement that resulted in suspension of the strike (which would run from the 7th to the 16th of this month) with the TAAG board administration.
