Luanda – Angola airlines company TAAG has expanded its destinations to Europe and domestic connections in Spain, as a result of the existing agreement between the Angolan flag carrier and the Spanish IBERIA, the company said in a statement, Angop has learnt.
With the expansion of these destinations, TAAG passengers will be able to travel in codeshare (sharing the same flight) to London (United Kingdom), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Rome, Milan (Italy), Geneva, Zurich (Switzerland), Brussels (Belgium) and Porto (Portugal).
The note adds that domestic destinations in Spain also include the cities of Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Gran Canaria, Vigo, Malaga, Bilbao, Valencia and Seville.
With this, customers now have more fare options, wider access to IBERIA destinations available in the system, single ticket acquisition (for itinerary in both companies) acquired in local currency and protection guarantee in the connecting flights.
According to TAAG, the treatment of issues such as flight reservation, check-in and luggage check for travel with stopovers is also more agile and convenient to the passenger, within the codeshare partnership.
Also under the agreement between the two airlines, the Luanda/Madrid/Luanda route is operated by TAAG, while Europe/Europe connections are held by IBERIA.
TAAG is a leading airline in Angola, globally recognized with a sustained growth, offering 14 domestic destinations and the same number of international flights.
IBERIA is the largest Spanish airliner and leader between Europe and Latin America, offering flights to 50 countries worldwide from Madrid airport.
