Mocâmedes – The amount of Akz 203,385,000 were collected during last year, by the transport sector in the province of Namibe, against Akz 347,820,000 of the previous year.
The director of the provincial office for transportation, traffic and urban mobility in Namibe, Luís Manuel de Boavida Savazuca, said told ANGOP, the drop is due to covid-19.
He reminded that the pandemic situation slowed down air, railways, maritime, road traffic besides full capacity's reduction on these means.
He detailed that Akz 137,497,000 were collected from airways, Akz 60,000,000 from maritime, Akz 5,045,000 roads, Akz 517,435 railways.
He explained that there were 8,452, 181 inter-provincial passengers, 2,106,435 in the urban center and 1,000,052 inter-municipal passengers.
