Sumbe – A sum of 41,461,000.00 Kz is the value of the debt of public transport operators allocated by the State, in the province of Cuanza-Sul.
The debt dates from the period between 2019 and 2024 and refers to 90 installments to pay for 51 buses, according to the local transport, traffic and urban mobility office.
Monthly installments are set at 461.000 Kz, for a period of 10 years, each bus costing Kz 58 million.
With a view to regularizing the situation, a consultation meeting was held on the activity of the public transport sector in the province, during which operators were called to comply with the rules and obligations.
