Ndalatando – The Lucala/Samba Caju road section, on the 320 National Road, which gives access to the province of Uíge, is closed due to maintenance work on the bridge over the Quiongua River.
According to the provincial services of the National Roads Institute of Angola (INEA), in Cuanza-Norte, the metal structure bridge has suffered a lot of damage following road accidents.
In recent days, the technical conditions of the infrastructure have worsened, making vehicle circulation dangerous.
According to INEA, the work was expected to be completed in three days, but there was a delay in completion due to the complexity of the services.
Due to the interruption of the road, many motorists find themselves stucked in both directions.
