Luanda – Angola airlines TAAG is due to have its Safe Operator Registration Certificate renewed, after receiving the final report of the Operational Safety Audit IOSA, which signals the success of the national flag career.
The audit was conducted in May 2022 and focused on the organization and control of the quality system, operational safety, flight operations, operational dispatch, maintenance and engineering, cabin crew, ground operations, cargo operations and security against acts of unlawful interference.
In a note sent to ANGOP, the national company says the result demonstrates the company's alignment with the best practices of the international aviation industry.
"The continuous improvement of operational safety of our services and management processes is an inalienable commitment of TAAG. Being in compliance is a reinforcement of our credibility, operational capacity and contribution of value to our passengers and stakeholders in general", says Eduardo Fairen, the TAAG CEO.
In parallel, the TAAG Quality Department has been conducting internal audits on a regular basis as part of the application of preventive methodologies and continuous improvement policies.
