Luanda - Road traffic on the Alto Dondo (Cuanza-Norte province)/Quibala (Cuanza-Sul) stretch is blocked due to erosion on National Road 120 caused by rain on Thursday night, the Ministry of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing has said in a statement.
The erosion occurred in the Cassanga area, Libolo municipality, Cuanza-Sul, causing the hydraulic passage to collapse and cutting off the connection between these towns, according to a note ANGOP had access to this Friday.
As an alternative, motorists will have to use the national roads “EN 100” (Barra do Cuanza/Porto Amboim/ Desvio dos Petróleos) and “EN 240” (Gabela/Quibala).
Efforts are being made to solve the constraints resulting from the erosion process, the statement said.QCB/VC/TED/AMP
