Icolo e Bengo - The Luanda Railway (CFL) announced Tuesday that it is temporarily cancelling rail traffic between Luanda and Malange provinces for a preventive intervention on the track, ANGOP has learnt.
The intervention will take place at kilometre points 56+800 to 57+025, in the municipality of Icolo e Bengo, Luanda province to re-establish the technical and operational conditions for the safe movement of trains.
According to the statement, the measure will affect the Muceques/Catete suburban passenger trains and vice versa, the Muceques/Luinha medium-haul passenger trains and vice versa and the Muceques/Malange long-haul freight trains and vice versa.
Traffic will resume on June 13.
For this reason, the CFL apologizes for any inconvenience and asks all train users for their understanding. AJQ/TED/AMP
