Chinguar – A citizen died and five others were injured, as a result of a road accident that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, Nov 20, on National Road (EN) 250, on the Cuito-Chinguar road section, central region province of Bié.
According to the spokesperson for the Criminal Investigation Service (SCI), Simão Lucas Londaca, the incident happened in the town of Nganja, in Chinguar, when a light vehicle crashed and overturned.
The injured, three of who are in critical state, are receiving medical assistance at the Walter Stranguay hospital.
According to the SIC spokesperson, the accident was due to a tire bursting, as well as excessive speed.
