Chinguar - At least four people died and three were injured as a result of a road accident on National Road 250, which connects the municipality of Chinguar to Cuito, in the province of Bié.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night in the Sachitula area (outskirts of the town of Chinguar), when a three-wheeled motorcycle with seven passengers tried to overtake a car and crashed into a parked truck.
The dead were three women and the driver of the moped, aged between 16 and 38, while the injured were taken to the local hospital for medical attention.
The Municipal Director of Transport, Traffic and Urban Mobility of Chinguar, David Soares, called on motorists to respect the Highway Code, not to speed, not to drink and drive, among other rules that guarantee the safety of people. BAN/PLB/DAN/AMP
