Luanda - The Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Social Communication, Mário Oliveira, on Friday in Luanda underscored the need to use artificial intelligence to develop and improve technology and preserve the identity of internet users, as a safe protocol for privacy.
Speaking at the opening of the seminar on "Personal Data Protection in Angola, the official said the artificial intelligence helps to protect confidential information and prevent unauthorized access, violations, safeguarding the privacy of people and organizations.
"These days, the dynamics of social interaction are becoming increasingly different from those of the last century. We are witnessing a spontaneous advance of technologies in Angola and similar ones in other parts of the world, which is reflected in the innovation, efficiency and accessibility of services," the minister said.
The minister underscored that this revolution "challenges us in many dimensions of daily life, especially in terms of data protection.
The one-day seminar was organized as part of the January 28, the International Day for the Protection of Personal Data, it brought together experts and thinkers committed to data protection, from the banking sector, insurance, public and private companies. ML/AC/DAN/AMP
