Luanda - The co-founder of the Entrepreneur Portal ABC "Bus Center", Emília Dias, on Saturday defended the need for greater visibility to the work carried out by women in science and technology so as to inspire girls and young people that embrace the sector.
Speaking at the Personal and Professional Development Forum, Emilia Dias highlighted the need for greater encouragement and dissemination of actions in this field to increase the number of women in the technology sector.
Emilia Dias said the presence of women in the world of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has improved, although there is still the need to give more voice to gender balance, having praised the ongoing projects aimed at stimulating the interest of women and young people.
The one-day meeting discussed topics related to “Women's empowerment in ICT”, “Opportunities for growth in times of adversity” and “Transformational leadership” .
