Luanda - One hundred and 70 speakers, including speakers and moderators, will discuss on the development of information and communication technologies, over the next three days, at the 4th International Forum on Technologies of Angola (ANGOTIC-2024).
Speaking to ANGOP on Tuesday, the event's spokesman, João Demba, explained that, of this number, about 65 are foreigners, who began arriving in the country on Sunday, from more than ten countries, with emphasis on Brazil, Russia, Italy, France, India, China and Japan.
Portugal, Namibia, Zambia, Germany, Israel and Cape Verde complete the list.
The forum will be attended by 125 startup creators and 70 exhibiting companies.
As for entities, he made it known that the ministers of Science and Technology of Zambia, Félix Mutati, of Information and National Guidance of Nigeria, Mohamed Idris, and the Minister of Information, Communication and Technology of Namibia, Emma Inamutila Theofelus, will be present.
For three days, topics such as 'The impact of 5G technology on industry and the emergence of 6G', 'Digital media and the challenges of new technologies in the media', 'Cybersecurity and how to protect your business in the digital age' and 'Ethics in the use of artificial intelligence' will be analysed.
Also included in the debates are matters related to 'The current/future state of technological innovation incubators and startups', 'Spatial education', 'Secret of digital innovation' and 'How to prevent data theft and cloning'.
As for the preparations, he said it was going well, so they should all be set up this Wednesday, both those of exhibitors and large companies, for the event that expects to receive at least 15 thousand participants.
