Soyo – The National Social Security Institute (INSS) carries out, in the province of Zaire, several actions to raise awareness among taxpayers, to comply with the obligations of the Mandatory Social Protection System.
According to the head of Zaire's INSS, Luzizila Ernesto Biarco, who spoke this Friday to ANGOP, in the city of Soyo, the objective is to ensure the financial sustainability of the pension system.
In these actions, according to the official, procedures for the execution of debts to Social Security are being disclosed and the need for voluntary payment of contributions is reiterated, without neglecting coercive collection.
She highlighted that information inherent to the requirements for settling debts in installments is also being transmitted to taxpayers.
Luzizila Biarco also informed that the institution she heads, in Zaire, has six taxpayer regimes, highlighting the types of employees, self-employment, religious clergy and domestic workers.
The INSS in the province of Zaire controls 49,459 policyholders, of which 2,963 are pensioners and 1,660 are taxpayers.
