Uíge - The European Union (EU) has funded, with US$600,000, a programme to strengthen the knowledge of young people of Luanda, Zaire and Uíge provinces on the shared budget of the municipality.
The three-year training programme, which began in 2020, aims to train municipal youth councils in Viana and Cazenga (Luanda province), Mbanza Congo (Zaire) and Songo and Mucaba (Uíge), to contribute to drawing up public policies.
This statement was made this Saturday in the province of Uige, by the head of the Alliance for Promotion of Development of Hoji-ya-Henda Commune (APDCH), Pedro Branquima, at the end of a training on the analysis of the General State Budget (OGE) and public investment programmes.
