Caxito - Three hundred scouts from 18 parishes that make up the diocese of Caxito were chosen to mobilize and sensitize the believers participating in the pilgrimage to Santana Ana, in the province of Bengo.
The Diocesan Secretary of the Catholic Scouts of Caxito, Livio Paulo Manuel, who provided the information to ANGOP, said that pilgrims are being sensitized not to make use of sharp objects, avoid bonfires near tents and do not create unpleasant situations.
He advised them to follow acceptable behaviors for the well-being of families.
Today, the second day of the pilgrimage, no serious cases were registered, he said.
To ensure the event, the Civil Protection and Fire Service of Bengo prepared 56 personnel, an ambulance and two vehicles.
A mobile post is set up at the site with 12 health professionals to attend to any cases that may arise.
For tonight it is planned to hold an opening mass, a candlelight procession and a night of prayers with the community in the Municipal State of Dande.MD/IF/DOJ
