Luena - The flagship airline, TAAG, is resuming flights to Luena, eastern Moxico province from Saturday (19) after nine months' suspension due to the Covid-19 containment measures.
Unlike nine months ago, which flew with Boing aircraft, TAAG resumes flights to Luena with small DAES-400 type aircraft, with capacity to carry 74 passengers.
Speaking to ANGOP today, the head of TAAG's stopover in Moxico, Genipro Narcissus, said the company will make a weekly flight, on Saturdays, in a initial phase.
He informed that the tickets started to be sold on Tuesday, whose prices range from 32,407 kzs, 70,216 kzs to 87,904 kzs, for economy class, as well as 176,890kzs and 294,444 kzs, for business class.
He also said that passengers will have to submit a test with a negative result of Covid-19, made 72 hours before boarding.
In the east, according to the stopover, Dangereux airport (in Luena) now receives the flights on Saturdays; Deolinda Rodrigues (in Saurimo) on Wednesdays and Camaquenzo (Dundo) on Mondays.
