The information was provided, Wednesday, by the clinical director of the General Hospital of Cacuaco Heróis do Kifangondo (HGCHK), Augusto Manuel, having revealed the reception, at 5 pm on Tuesday, of eight children involved in the incident.
According to the clinical director, two minors still require care due to abdominal trauma, injuries to the intestine, skin and bones.
The doctor explained that the other five are in the resuscitation room, under medical observation.
He reported that they are stable, despite the abrasions and injuries caused by shrapnel.
Augusto Manuel also informed that three other children were re-evaluated and, as they are out of danger, they could be discharged at any time.
Paulinho Katiavala, one of the victims, explained that the grenade was in a plastic bag when another boy took it from the dumpster, the usual place for collecting iron intended for weighing and sale.
