Uíge – A 47-year-old citizen was arrested on Wednesday, in the city of Uíge, by the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC), for allegedly sexually abusing a minor aged one and a half year.
The SIC spokesperson in the province, Zacarias Fernando, informed ANGOP Thursday, explaining that the crime occurred when the accused (neighbor of the victim), taking advantage of the parents' absence, took the child to his house where the act was committed.
Afterwards, the offender went on the run, having been arrested days later, following an investigative process.
He clarified that the accused has already been referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office for the necessary legal procedures.
