Caxito – At least three shipyards belonging to Chinese citizens, who were engaged in the illegal activity of crypto currencies, were dismantled on Friday in northern Bengo province by the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC).
According to the SIC spokesman, sub-inspector Miguel Correia, the shipyards were located in Musseque Quicoca and Mabubas commune, Dande municipality were the Chinese citizens carried out their illegal activity.
After learning about the presence of the law enforcement authorities the crooks uninstalled all the electronic equipment, stored it in 40-foot containers and put up a clay block covering and high walls to hide their illegal activity, the SIC said.
During the operation, which took place as part of the Fight against Computer Crimes and Crypto currency, as well various computer and electronic equipment used to carry out criminal offense.
The spokesman said that efforts continue to be made to locate and arrest the citizens involved in the illegal activity. MD/CJ/PA/AMP
