Malanje - Ministry of Education will continue to train teachers to improve their performance and raising the quality of education.
The move is intended to respond to the new educational requirements, said the Secretary of State for Pre-School and General Education, Pacheco Francisco.
Speaking to the press after the meeting with provincial governor of Malanje, Marcos Alexandre Nhunga, the official also spoke of the supervision of teachers in the classroom.
The objective, he said, is to assess the applied teaching methodologies, as one of the indicators for achieving satisfactory results in terms of learning.
He explained that the Ministry of Education (MED) is preparing, for the next few days, training on teaching techniques, which will bring together agents of the teaching and learning process from all over the country, with a view to improving their skills.
He said that the quality of teaching is a concern of the MED, hence the orientation of the provincial and municipal directorates in the sense of training more and more teachers, with a view to overcoming learning issues.
The Secretary of State has been in northern Malanje province since Monday to attend the National School Games taking place on 22-31 August.
