Ramiros - The secretary of State for Territorial Administration, Fernando da Paixão, on Tuesday in Luanda reiterated the call for municipal administrators to focus on correct use of resources from the General State Budget (OGE).
The official was speaking during the closing act of the Introduction to Public Service Course, within the scope of the new Administrative Political Division, for whom correct management aims to positively impact the lives of citizens and improve the provision of public services.
He highlighted that it is time to "leave the speech and move on to practice", with concrete actions, because being a good administrator of public assets means prioritizing everyone´s interest and making decisions for the benefit of the community.
The course aimed to promote the development of skills of municipal managers in office and potential managers with theoretical and practical knowledge that will allow them to understand and act effectively in the context of the new Administrative Political Division.
The event that was held at the National School of Public Policy Administration (ENAPP), debated topics such as Planning and local development, Local Planning and Finance, Human Capital and Good Governance, Administrative Procedures and Public Procurement, among others.
It was attended by municipal administrators and senior technicians.
