Malanje- A 54-year-old national was arrested on Sunday by the National Police in Milando commune, Cunda-dia-base municipality, for illegal possession of 105 supposed diamond stones.
According to the municipal commander of the National Police in Cunda-dia-base, Superintendent Salvador Sebastião Manuel, the arrest of the suspect was the result of a public denunciation.
A sieve and 50,000 kwanzas were also found with the alleged perpetrator.
The suspect in question will be brought before the Public Prosecutor's Office for further proceedings.PBC/DAN/AMP
