Saurimo - The government of Lunda-Sul province reiterated Friday that it will continue to implement actions for the socio-economic integration and protection of people with disabilities.
This was reiterated by the director of the Provincial Office for Social Action and Gender Equality, Luísa Martins, during the handing over of 20 wheelchairs to disabled people.
During the event led by the governor of Lunda-Sul, Daniel Neto, the provincial Association for Disabled People received a three-wheeled motorcycle, computer equipment, used clothes and food.
The official assured that the government will continue to work to ensure that the actions aimed to combat hunger and poverty, professional training, promoting self-employment, Catoca students, rural women, among others, are comprehensive and also benefit the disabled.
He added that INAC has carried out various actions aimed at protecting and promoting the rights of this group as part of the program to value the family and strengthen family skills.
