Luanda - The United Nations is encouraging young Angolans to participate in professional programs through public competitions to work inside and outside the country.
The information was released Thursday in Luanda by the UN's global communications representative, Maurizio Giuliano.
This is a public competition called "Young Professionals Programme" (YPP), which aims to recruit young people from 49 countries, including Angola, to work at the UN.
According to the official, applications began in August and will run until September 27. Candidates must be fluent in English or French, have a degree in areas that are relevant to the occupational groups of this year's competition and be under 32 years of age.
Interested candidates can apply in “political affairs and human rights”, “administration and human resources” and “finance and budgets”. At the time of application, candidates can choose only one area to work in.
