Huambo - The book "The Web immigrant and his foolishness ", written by Angolan writer Nituecheni Africano, has won the second edition of the International Literary Award WBR Awards of the Brazilian magazine Word Book Revier, in the category of best contemporary novel.
The results of the contest, with more than 30 categories, were disclosed last Wednesday (15), on the instagram of the Brazilian magazine Word Book Revier, to which ANGOP had access on Friday.
The book "The Web immigrant and his foolishness" has 61 pages and was edited by the Association of Young Writers of Angola.
The author has accepted the invitation to be the ambassador of the magazine that promotes the prize in the African continent.
The contest was based on voting, between July 1st and December 31st 2022, with the participation of more than a hundred writers from various countries around the world competing in the 30 categories of the award, especially the best contemporary novel, chronicle book, narrative, best children's book, fiction, digital book, short story book and drama.
The Brazilian magazine Word Book Revier states, in its page, that Nituecheni Africano "has a beautiful educational work and is an eternal militant of culture, especially literature”.
Nituecheni Africano is the pseudonym of Eugénio Afonso Gaspar, who has already won, with the same work, the IV edition of the Great Latin American Literary Contest, held in São Paulo (Brazil), in 2022, in the category of Best Novel.
He was born in the Province of Huambo, on September 12th 1990, the writer Eugénio Afonso Gaspar graduated in Computing and Business Administration, from the Technical University of Angola (UTANGA).
