Luanda - The Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Media launched Thursday an information portal called "Angola Hoje" aimed at providing general information on current national affairs, tourism, culture, economy, investments and government’s programs.
Internet users will have access to information available in the areas of search, directory, videos, photos and news.
Mário Oliveira, Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Media, said that the platform is expected to accomplish one of the country's governing mottos, "Working More and Communicating Better".
The minister underlined that the aim is to show the country's potential to Angolans and foreigners, as well as interconnecting public bodies, with diversified information for citizens and the business community.
"With Angola Hoje we want to bring clear and credible information about the country's development in its most varied sectors everywhere," the minister said.
The "Angola Hoje" portal includes an open, interactive and transparent communication narrative on culture, tourism, agribusiness, industry, economy, finance and regional events. ANM/ART/AMP
