Luanda - The Minister Mário Oliveira said that the strategic partnership between the ministries of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication (MINTTICS) and Education (MED) will allow ITEL to offer training programs aligned with market needs and national development guidelines.

The government official was speaking, this Saturday, in Luanda, during the ceremony awarding diplomas to 130 young people who attended technical courses in IT, Electronics and Telecommunications, and IT and Multimedia Systems at the Telecommunications Institute (ITEL).

According to the head of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, the aforementioned partnership ensures that young people are well prepared to face the challenges of the future.

Mário Oliveira informed that MINTTICS works tirelessly to promote technological advancement in Angola.

“We have invested in infrastructure, encouraged innovation and supported initiatives that aim to integrate information and communication technologies in all sectors of our society”, the official said, in the presence of the Angolan Minister of Education, Luísa Grilo.

According to the minister, the objective is to create a more connected, innovative and competitive Angola.

Under the supervision of MINTTICS, he highlighted that ITEL has been a fundamental pillar in the training of highly qualified professionals, ready to contribute significantly to Angola development.

For this reason, he emphasized that not only the achievement of each of the young graduates is celebrated, but also ITEL's ongoing commitment to educational excellence and technological innovation.

To the graduates, Mário Oliveira highlighted that the diploma is not only a recognition of each person's effort and achievement, but also a door that opens to new opportunities and challenges.

“In this constantly evolving world, where technology plays an increasingly central role in our lives, your training puts you at the forefront of innovations that will shape the future. Whether in software development, managing communication networks or creating multimedia content, you have the tools and knowledge to make a difference”, he highlighted.

He promised that the knowledge and skills acquired will allow us to achieve not only personal and professional goals, but also contribute to the country's progress.

The minister assured that MINTTICS and ITEL will continue to support young people by providing the needing resources and environment for development.

As an example, Mário Oliveira awarded scholarships for higher education to the three best students in the technical courses of IT and Multimedia Systems (Pedro Lusaedio), IT (Ivanildo Almeida) and Electronics and Telecommunications (Benedito Martins). CPM/OHA/CF/DOJ
