Talatona - The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MINJUD) on Thursday said it plans to create a National Bursary for Youth Management and Leadership Trainers this year, with the aim of developing associations in the country's 18 provinces.
Rui Falcão, Minister of Youth and Sports, disclosed the information on the sidelines of the 1st Edition of the Training for Trainers in Youth Management and Leadership, said the aim is to expand knowledge to other youth leaders, providing them with the necessary skills to run organizations and promote the development of associations in the country.
According to the minister, since young people are the largest demographic group, more assertive policies must continue to be designed for their inclusion in working life.
The minister said the MINJUD will continue to create conditions to guarantee the effective participation of young people in decision-making processes, ensuring that they can exercise full citizenship and increase their capacity to intervene in the most varied areas of life in society.
At least 150 young people from the country's 18 provinces are taking part in the first edition of the Training Course for Trainers in Youth Association Management and Leadership running until March 31. Giz/MAG/TED/AMP
