Luanda - The minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Media, Mário Oliveira, lamented, this Wednesday, the death of the director of the cultural “Radio Cultura Angola”, José Ndalu, which occurred Tuesday in the country's capital, victim of illness.
In a condolence message issued today, the minister describes N'dalingo, as he was treated by those closest to him, as a versatile, dedicated and outstanding media professional.
“In a context in which there is in the country, but not only, the need to regulate the continuous passing of testimony, as well as the elevation of reference professionals in the class, the sudden death of José Ndalu leaves a huge void in the Angolan journalistic reference”, reads the note.
Through the document, Mário Oliveira, on his behalf and on behalf of the workers of the Ministry he heads, as well as Media professionals, extends his sincere solidarity to the bereaved family, friends, the collective of Radio Cultura workers and colleagues and deepest condolences.
According to information from close family members, José Ndalu suffered a hypertensive crisis in the Luanda Sul neighborhood, municipality of Viana, and lost his life when he was transferred to the Luanda General Hospital.
José Ndalu dos Santos Ribeiro was born on July 11, 1976, in municipality of Porto Amboim, in the province of Cuanza-Sul, by the time of his death he served as director of Radio Cultura Angola.
He was admitted to the state-owned radio RNA in March 1999, where he performed several roles, with emphasis on director and producer at Radio Viana and coordinator of the program “Boa Noite Angola” (Good Night Angola, in English), on channel A on Angola National Broadstation.
