Luanda - The Minister of State for Social Affairs, Dalva Ringote, reiterated on Friday in Addis Ababa, the commitment of the Angolan President João Lourenço in organizing the Biennale of Luanda, as a platform for the dissemination and implementation of the culture of peace and African citizenship.
Dalva Ringote made this statement while speaking to press at the end of a meeting with the Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, in Ethiopian capital.
The Biennale of Luanda will debate topics such as education, reconciliation, democratic and constitutional transition, energy and food security, environmental protection, gender and the inclusion of young people and women in decision-making centers as premises that generate sustainable development in Africa.
In this regard, Moussa Faki Mahamat stated that young people, women, universities and culture must serve as inspiration for the maintenance of constitutional order in all African countries.

Dalva Ringote, who has been in Addis Ababa since Thursday, as part of the agenda of the Steering Committee of the Pan-African Forum for the Culture of Peace and Non-Violence, carried out preparatory activities for the third edition of the Biennale of Luanda, taking place from 22 to 24 November.
Also on Friday, the Angolan minister co-chaired the First Ordinary Meeting of the Steering Committee of the Pan-African Forum for the Culture of Peace and Non-Violence, which assessed and adopted the governing documents of the Biennale of Luanda, in particular, the Concept Note and the Programme, containing the themes of the panels, the sessions of the intergenerational dialogue between the Heads of State and Government and young people.
The meeting of the Steering Committee also included a video-conference message, on UNESCO's commitment to the successful holding of the 3rd edition of the Biennale of Luanda, presented by the Assistant Director-General for the Priority Africa and External Relations of UNESCO, Anthony Ohemeng-Boamah.
