Luanda - The Minister of State for Social Affairs, Carolina Cerqueira, on Monday in Luanda encouraged the Angolan Forum of Young Entrepreneurs (FAJE) to provide more support for the integration of unemployed youths.
The leader, who was speaking to ANGOP at the end of an audience granted to FAJE, reiterated the priority of promoting the social integration of youths, increasing their training and technical and professional capacity to facilitate the access to employment, through small businesses and individual or group initiatives.
She called the FAJE to pay special attention to the multiple capacities linked to environmental issues, especially its conservation and valorisation, basic sanitation and transformation of waste that can generate sustainable projects and promote employment.
The official pointed out that the youth associativism can play an important role in raising the mission and entrepreneurial spirit of the youths, as well as raise the citizenship spirit and protection of the common good and good practices.
According to the State minister, the actions of the forum should be structural and sustainable, in order to allow its self-sufficiency and help the country's socio-economic development.
During the meeting, which was part of the programme for consulting civil society, particularly in the area of youth entrepreneurship, the minister encouraged the FAJE to participate in national and international forums, as well as to help young people to create small businesses, access credit and take advantage of other facilities made available by the Government under the programmes to support the integration of young people.
